Teravision Games has announced that its asymmetrical multiplayer horror game that is based on the iconic ‘80s film, Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, will be released in 2023.
The Concept of the Game
When alien klowns attack the quiet town of Crescent Cove, the locals work together to fight back and survive the invasion. Players will be assigned to either the klown team or the human team randomly; however, they can choose the class they would like to play for each.
Klowns
Players can select from one of five klown classes, each with unique special tools and abilities:
(1) THE SCOUT: JUMBO
Jumbo’s penta-shot blaster is a shotgun-like weapon that can hit up to five targets at once; he can chase humans down and whack them with a Klown Mallet, or make them come to him with his Finger Lure.
(2) THE FIGHTER: SHORTY
The Klown of Klash! Shorty can knock out any human with one punch or take him/her out at a distance with his Cotton Candy C4 launcher. He can run anyone down on his tricycle or pop out of a pizza box.
(3) THE TANK: CHUBBY
Chubby uses his unstoppable rage to break through walls, while his cotton candy ground punch levels nearby humans. Chubby loves to share his pies – willing or not; one bite incapacitates his victims.
(4) THE TRACKER: SPIKEY
Between his popcorn bazooka tracker and trusty balloon dog, there is no hiding from Spikey. If he needs to get somewhere quickly, he can summon his invisible car and speed off toward his victims.
(5) THE TRAPSTER: RUDY
While other klowns seek and destroy, Rudy plots and traps. His baby klown Snake (evil jack-in-the-box) and popcorn mines will snare any unsuspecting human who triggers them.
Citizens
Players can select from one of the following five human classes: (1) BIKER
His strength lets him carry more and hit harder than anyone else in town.
(2) COP
He is a perspective person who is good with guns.
(3) PUNK
He has high stamina, is good with obstacles, and is a fast runner.
(4) REDNECK
He is good with guns, fixes stuff, and has the biggest inventory size.
(5) TEEN
He has too much energy and is nimble and stealthy.
