Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 — New Map and Innovations

The United Republic of Adal’s Al-Mazra city will be on your Warzone 2.0 starting map. You have already explored several of its regions on multiplayer maps like Tara, Scariff Bay, Al Bagra Fortress, Embassy, Zarqa Hydroelectric, and Said.

The following highlights are among the many new features and gameplay elements in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0:

et your custom duties by clearing a Stronghold or Black Site or by utilising Coadout Drops that are later deployed in the match. You can use currency at the in-game Purchase Station to buy just the Main Weapon from customised Luddites.

Looting Mechanics: In the new DMZ mode, Operators will use a backpack system to further organize their items and equipment. Battle Royale will use a streamlined version of this new system.

The New Gulag is here.

In the new Gulag, a 2v2 arena, randomly paired duos must work together to defeat the adversary. I will give all players a predetermined load out that places extremely powerful equipment and weapons in the middle of the map.

The Gulag Jailer will intervene in the middle of the game. I brought all four Gulag captives back into the fight after defeating the Jailer. Would you cooperate or will you try to win the elimination?

AI Combatants

Strongholds and Black Sites are the other two locations where players will encounter AI warriors besides the Gulag Jailer. In the in-game TAC Map, both are unmistakably marked.

Fight against AI foes in Strongholds as you race against the clock to find and defuse a bomb. Much more dangerous, Black Sites give a permanent Weapon Blueprint reward and lucrative in-game goodies for those who can accomplish them. The Black Site Key, granted to the first squad to clear out an active stronghold, is required to enter a Black Site.

Further Innovations: Aquatic Combat, New Vehicles and Fuel System, and More
 Circle Collapse:

In Battle Royale modes, there can be up to three circles within the collapse, which will ultimately re-converge for the final showdown. Prepare to adjust your strategies as we randomize this feature in each match.

Proximity Chat:

Got something to say? Comms are now open, so any other squad can pick any in-game chatter up.

New Fuel System:

No more unlimited fuel sources — all vehicles use fuel over time, and when it runs out, that vehicle is no longer usable. I can refill vehicles either with Gas Cans found around the map or at Gas Stations.

 New Vehicles:

Call in the aerial powerhouse known as the Heavy Chopper, which can hover in the air without a pilot, or use the all-electric super truck GMC Hummer EV, a versatile means for the squad to quickly cover serious ground.

Interrogation:

In squad-based modes, intel is everything. Reveal enemy locations by successfully shaking down player-controlled enemies while they are downed.

DMZ — A New Battle Royale Experience
 Call of Duty:

Warzone 2.0 will debut with a brand-new experience called DMZ besides the classic Warzone variants of Battle Royale Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads.

Operators in the open-world, narrative-focused extraction mode known as DMZ are free to perform faction-based missions, take on additional side objectives, interact with hostile Operators or AI combatants, seek for valuable goods, and engage in combat while trying to live in order to ex filtrate.

Third-Person Playlists:

Get a new perspective with third-person Playlists, set to be introduced into the Battle Royale weekly rotation later in Season 01. Modern Warfare II owners can get a taste of the third-person experience now through the game’s Multiplayer.

PlayStation Exclusive — Season 01 Combat Jack

Gear up with the exclusive Season 01 Combat Jack, free for PlayStation Plus members for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II. Included in this Combat Jack are the “Oni Tactical” Operator Skin for Oni, the “Oni Revenger” SMG and “Oni Oracle” Pistol Weapon Blueprints, plus the “Sony Oni” Calling Card, “Welcome Death” Sticker, “Fractal Demon” Emblem, and the “Demon Fang” Charm.

Season 01 General Overview
 New Battle Pass:

Discover a whole new Battle Pass system that gives gamers more control than ever. A multi-Sector map will replace the previous games’ straight stream of tiers. Use Battle Pass Tier Tokens got to unlock goods everywhere throughout the map. We can use tokens to either unlock nearby sectors or gain more goods within an unlocked sector. Each map features at least 20 sectors with five items each.

Vitus XMR Sniper Rifle:

A hard-hitting, bolt-action sniper rifle with.50 cal BMG ammunition. Its tungsten sabot-tipped bullets are fast and powerful but require precise shots over long distances.

BAS-P SMG:

An aggressive fire rate and modular frame make the BAS-P perfect for the discerning operator who wants to customize their weapon. Subsonic ammo hides kill skulls from the enemy team.

Chimera Assault Rifle:

With an integrated suppressor and slow, high-energy.300 BLK rounds, the Chimera is adept at close-quarters combat. Subsonic Ammo hides skulls from the enemy team.

New Operators
 Zeus (Launch):

Born in the South Niger Delta, Zoar KALU is the eldest of three children, helping to raise his younger siblings while his parents pursued political aspirations. Following his year of military service shadowing a Nigerian Army Special Forces Battalion, he enlisted and rose through the ranks.

After losing his family to local Al Atala soldiers, Zeus established the “Thunder” Corps, a counterterrorism group dedicated to hunting AQ wherever they hide and bringing them to true justice. Unlock Zeus automatically with purchase of the Season 01 Battle Pass.

Klaus (Mid-Season):

A member of Denmark’s Elite Special Forces, Klaus Fisker can almost be considered a living legend among Operators. I made his legend one night on the Kazakstan border, where he carried a wounded comrade 18 miles to the nearest base using the lessons taught by his father.

Gaz (Mid-Season):

Price’s right-hand man, Gaz, became a legend in 2019 when his valiancy during an attack on Piccadilly Circus grabbed the attention of the formidable SAS Bravo Team captain. He ultimately joined Price’s elite unit, known as Task Force 141.
